COVID-19 UPDATE

We are still seeing patients as we are an “essential business.” We are taking very careful and preventative measures including limiting the number of people in the clinic, screening patients at their car for any symptoms before we bring them into the clinic for treatment, hand-washing of each patient as soon as they enter the clinic and when they leave, and disinfection of any equipment used and surfaces in the clinic in general. Our employees are of course engaging in frequent hand washing and sanitizing as well.

We are encouraging elderly patients or anyone immunocompromised to reschedule their appointment post quarantine. We are here to answer any questions, and are happy to assist any patients taking a break in therapy with their home exercise program. Because we are seeing limited patients, our hours daily and weekly will vary. We will not be open everyday from 7am-7pm. Each day is different. Julia Lapo, PT, DPT

Julia is from Tulsa, Oklahoma and attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas where she graduated in 2015 with a bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science. She then obtained a doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas State University in 2018. Julia chose to pursue a profession in physical therapy because it combines her greatest passions of physical activity, studying the human body, building relationships, and educating patients.

In the clinic, Julia strives to provide patients of all ages and demographics with an individualized, holistic treatment approach. She is passionate about assisting patients in meeting their personal goals for wellness and seeks to enable patients to return to their daily activities pain-free. Julia loves building relationships with patients and working to give them the tools they need to achieve their goals.

Julia is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Texas Physical Therapy Association (TPTA). She plans to further advance her clinical skills by enrolling in the Manual Therapy Institute beginning January of 2019 in pursuit of a manual therapy certification and fellowship.

Outside of work, Julia enjoys reading, playing and watching sports, running, working out, and spending time outdoors with friends.
